Made this sometime around 3AM in February. Couldn’t sleep — the summer heat in Perth does that — so I went to the studio and just started playing without any particular goal.
The guitar part came first, just a loop through a long reverb tail. Then a synth pad underneath, something that felt like breathing. The whole thing kind of assembled itself over about two hours.

I don’t normally share music. Most of what I make stays on a hard drive somewhere. But this one felt finished, which is rare. Or maybe it just felt honest, which is different from finished but I’ll take either.
The title is two things that happened to be true at the time of making it.
